Arthur Levine he will step down as president of the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation in July 2019. Among other accomplishments at the foundation, he worked with MIT to create a cutting-edge graduate school of education called the Woodrow Wilson Academy of Teaching and Learning. Levine previously served as president and professor of education at Teachers College, Columbia University, and as chair of the higher education program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Thomas Fiedler will step down as dean of Boston University’s College of Communication at the end of next academic year. Fiedler became dean of the college in 2008 after more than 30 years at the Miami Herald as an investigative reporter, political columnist, editorial page editor and executive editor.

The Rhode Island Health and Educational Building Corporation named Kimberly Mooers as its new executive director, succeeding Robert Donovan.

The National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) named Susan Whealler Johnston to be first female president, succeeding John Walda, who is retiring after leading NACUBO for 12 years. Since 2000, Johnston has served as executive VP and COO of the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges.

Kathleen Carroll Giles

, head of school at the Middlesex School in Concord, Mass., since 2003, was named the first female rector of St. Paul’s School in Concord, N.H.
