Community college graduates in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island can now transfer directly to participating four-year independent colleges and universities in the same state. The New England Transfer Guarantee provides a clear, affordable path for associate degree holders with an eligible GPA to complete a bachelor’s degree – admission guaranteed!

The New England Transfer Guarantee is supported by generous funding from the Teagle Foundation, the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations, the Davis Educational Foundation and the Lloyd G. Balfour Foundation. The initiative unifies systematic state transfer and promotes equity and access in higher education.

In of July 2022, the New England Transfer Guarantee received funding to scale the program to the northern New England states of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. The implementation process is currently underway.
