Basketball Hall of Famer Bill Walton will give the commencement address for New England Institute of Technology on Sunday, May 1 at 11 a.m. at the Rhode Island Convention Center.

U.S. Secretary of Labor Thomas E. Perez will keynote the Roger Williams University School of Law commencement on Friday, May 13 at 1 p.m. on the university’s main athletic field. Barnaby Evans, creator of WaterFire, will address the Roger Williams undergraduates on Saturday, May 14 at 10 a.m., also on the main athletic field.

Historian and two-time Pulitzer Prize Winner Alan Shaw Taylor will address University of Maine at Farmington graduates on Saturday, May 14 at 10:30 a.m.

Rhode Island College alumna Deloris Davis Grant keynote her alma mater’s 162nd commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 14 at 9 a.m. at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center. Alumna Claire Giannamore will address the advanced degree ceremony at 2:30 p.m., also at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center.

Former CEO of UniTek and its telecom subsidiary, UniTel, Lawrence (Larry) J. Sterrs will address Thomas College’s commencement on Saturday, May 14 at 1 p.m. in the college’s Harold Alfond Athletic Center.

Kirk Arnold, CEO of Massachusetts-based Data Intensity, will speak to Bay Path University graduates on Saturday, May 14 at 3 p.m. at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass.

Barry Black, the first African American to serve as chaplain of the U.S. Senate, will keynote Salve Regina’s commencement on Sunday, May 15 at 10 a.m.

Naila Baloch, associate chaplain and Muslim advisor at Middlebury College, will address graduates of Lyndon State College on Sunday, May 15 at 11 a.m. on the soccer field.

Steve Pemberton, global chief diversity officer with Walgreens Boots Alliance, will keynote Mount Ida College’s 117th commencement on Monday May 16 at 11 A.M. on the Newton, Mass. campus.

Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh will keynote Bunker Hill Community College’s 42nd commencement on Saturday, May 21.

U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), longtime NAACP Legal Defense Fund leader Elaine R. Jones, and YMCA of the USA President and CEO Kevin Washington will speak at Suffolk University’s undergraduate commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 22 at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion on the Boston waterfront.

U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power will address Yale College’s Class Day on Sunday, May 22 at 2 p.m. on Old Campus.

Kevin Gover, director of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of the American Indian, will keynote Brown University’s 248th commencement on the afternoon of Sunday, May 29 in the Meeting House of the First Baptist Church in America.
