Vermont State Colleges (VSC) Chancellor Tim Donovan announced he will step down on Dec. 31, six months before the end of his contract. He served as chancellor for five years and previously led the Community College of Vermont. Separately, the VSC board elected Martha O’Connor of Brattleboro to succeed Gary Moore as its chair.
UMaine President Paul Ferguson announced he will step down to become president at Ball State University in Indiana, effective Aug. 1.
Newbury College executive vice president Joseph L. Chillo Jr. was named the fifth president of the Brookline, Mass. college, effective June 1. He will succeed Hannah M. McCarthy who is retiring after eight years in charge.
William B. Lamb, associate dean for graduate programs and associate professor strategic management at Ohio University College of Business, was named dean of Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
