Providence College announced that President Rev. Brian Shanley will leave the post he’s held for 15 years at the end of the academic year in 2020. Hampshire College’s Board of Trustees Chair Gaye Hill resigned after six years, citing “vitriol, slanderous attacks, and the questioning of motives” in the face of the worst financial crisis in the college’s history. She was replaced by Vice Chair Luis Hernandez.
