Boston Police Commish, Sen. Angus King Among Additional Commencement Speakers

Dianne Dillon-Ridgley, a leader in environmental sustainability, corporate responsibility and social justice, will keynote Green Mountain College’s 176th commencement  on Saturday, May 11, at 10 a.m. on the Griswold Library lawn

Max Mutchnick, Emmy Award winner and co-creator of the television show Will & Grace, will deliver the undergraduate address at Emerson College’s 133rd commencement on Sunday, May 12, at 10 a.m. at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis, recognized for his leadership in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings, will address graduates at UMass Lowell’s commencement on Saturday, May 18, at 9 a.m. in the Tsongas Center.

U.S. Sen. Angus S. King Jr. (I-Maine) will keynote the University of New England’s 178th commencement on Saturday, May 18, at 10 a.m. on the grass adjacent to Sokokis Hall on UNE’s Biddeford Campus.

Mara Liasson, a political correspondent for National Public Radio, will keynote the University of Maine School of Law’s commencement on Saturday, May 18, at 10 a.m. at the Merrill Auditorium in Portland.

Gary Hirshberg, co-founder and chair of the organic yogurt producer Stonyfield Farm, will deliver the Bates College commencement address on Sunday, May 26 at 10 a.m. on the Historic Quad.
