BEDFORD, N.H.—New Hampshire educators, business leaders and legislators will gather on June 8, 2006 at CR Sparks in Bedford for the New Hampshire launch of College Ready New England, a new regional initiative to increase the economic competitiveness of the region and its residents through college readiness, participation and success. This event will occur at a special New Hampshire Forum on the Future breakfast presentation entitled Growing A 21st Century Economy: Is NH College and Workforce Ready? The breakfast series is coordinated by the New Hampshire College and University Council and the New Hampshire High Technology Council.

- Governor John Lynch
- New England Board of Higher Education President Evan S. Dobelle
The subsequent panel discussion on Growing New Hampshire’s 21st Century Economy will feature:
- Stephen Reno, Chancellor, University System of New Hampshire
- Bill Simonton, Commissioner, NH Community Technical College System
- Lyonel Tracy, Commissioner, NH Department of Education
- Fr. Jonathan DeFelice, President, Saint Anselm College
