Comings and Goings …

Former Massachusetts state Rep. John Keenan was chosen by the Salem State University’s Board of Trustees to become the next president of the state university, where he is currently general counsel and vice president for administration.

Saint Michael’s College President John J. Neuhauser announced he’ll leave the post in June 2018.

Carol A. Moore, who held several higher education leadership posts in Vermont, including the presidency of Lyndon State College and interim presidency of the now-closed Burlington College, was named interim president of South Carolina’s Columbia College, where she has served as executive vice president and provost since September.

Vermont state Sen. Kevin Mullin (R-Rutland), a NEBHE delegate, announced he will step down from the Senate to become chair of the Green Mountain Care Board, which regulates health insurance prices and hospital budgets.
