Ted Kennedy Jr., Sen. Murphy, Gov. Shumlin, Ed Guru Canada Among Additional Grad Voices

Tom Friedman, a conceptual sculptor, will keynote Montserrat College’s 2013 commencement on Friday, May 17, at 10 a.m. at the Cabot Street Cinema Theatre in Beverly, Mass.

John M. Barry, historian and biographer of Roger Williams, will address the Roger Williams University commencement on Saturday, May 18, at 10 a.m. on the University’s main athletic field.

Mary E. Kennard will address the University of Rhode Island’s graduate commencement on Saturday, May 18, at 1 p.m. at the Thomas M. Ryan Center. Alex and Ani, CEO Giovanni Feroce will address undergraduates on Sunday, May 19 at 12:30 p.m., also at the Thomas M. Ryan Center.

Kenneth R. Feinberg, the administrator of The One Fund Boston effort to raise money for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing, will keynote Curry College’s commencement on Sunday, May 19, at 9:30 a.m. at the D. Forbes Will Athletic Complex.

Ted Kennedy Jr., a lawyer and advocate for people with disabilities, will keynote the University of New Haven commencement ceremony to be held at the Toyota Presents Oakdale Theatre on Sunday, May 19, at 10 a.m. As second ceremony at 3 p.m. will feature remarks from U.S. Sen. Christopher Murphy (D-Conn.).

Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin will address Marlboro College’s 66th graduation ceremony on Sunday, May 19, at 10:30 a.m.

Anne Fadiman, author, essayist and teacher, will keynote the College of the Holy Cross’s commencement on Friday, May 24, at 10:30 a.m. on the campus.

U.S. Rep. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) will keynote the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology’s 33rd commencement on Sunday, June 2, at 11 a.m. at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel.

Geoffrey Canada, president and CEO of Harlem Children’s Zone, which serves more than 10,000 children in underprivileged city neighborhoods, will keynote Dartmouth College’s 2013 commencement on Sunday, June 9, at 10 a.m. on the Green.
