Quinnipiac University announced six commencement ceremonies. On Saturday, May 10 at 10 a.m., investor Guy Adami of Fast Money and Drakon Capital will address graduate commencement at the TD Bank Sports Center on Quinnipiac’s York Hill Campus. At 3 p.m. in the same location, Linda Schwartz, Connecticut commissioner of veterans affairs, will address health science and nursing graduate students. U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal will address School of Law graduates on Sunday, May 11 at 10 a.m. also at the York Hill Campus. The next weekend, on Sunday, May 18, Forbes Media Chair and former presidential candidate Steve Forbes will address the School of Business and School of Communications at 9:30 a.m. At 2 p.m., 9/11 recovery champion John Feal will address the School of Health Sciences and School of Nursing. At 6 p.m., filmmaker Andrew Jenks will address the College of Arts and Sciences.
Lesley University will hold two commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 17 at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston. At 10 a.m., Lois Lowry, author of “The Giver,” will address Lesley’s Graduate School of Education. At 2 p.m., Guyana’s Minister of Education Priya Manickchand will speak to Lesley’s Graduate School of Arts and Social Sciences.
Academy Award winner Jennifer Lee, who wrote and co-directed the animated film “Frozen,” will keynote address the University of New Hampshire commencement on Saturday, May 17.
Former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau will keynote the College of the Holy Cross commencement on Friday, May 23 at 10:30 a.m. on the campus.
Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick will keynote Colby College’s 193rd commencement on Sunday, May 25 at 10 a.m. on the lawn of Miller Library.
