Environmentalist to Lead Center at Vermont Law School

Rushlow

Comings and Goings …

Vermont Law School announced that Conservation Law Foundation senior attorney Jennifer Rushlow will direct the South Royalton school’s Environmental Law Center. She’ll succeed David Mears, the former commissioner of Vermont’s Department of Environmental Conservation, who announced in June he will leaving the post. Facing a budget deficit estimated around $1 million, the school recently revoked the tenure of 14 out of 19 faculty members as part of a plan to develop a “sustainable financial model,” according to VTDigger.

Assumption College appointed former Beloit College VP for Enrollment Robert Mirabile to be vice president of enrollment management at the Worcester, Mass. college.

Princeton University admissions dean Janet Lavin Rapelye was named president of the Consortium on Financing Higher Education (COFHE), the Cambridge, Mass.-based national organization of 35 highly selective private liberal arts colleges and universities.
